THE ROLE

We are looking for an Irrigation Service Technician – (Trade qualified/Experienced/Beginner level all welcome to apply)

• To troubleshoot pumps and equipment for repairs and or servicing in the workshop
• With the ability to liaise with our Suppliers to order parts and equipment
• Who can travel to site for field installations including Solar (out of office time!)
• Perform general workshop duties including light metal fabrication and poly pipe welding
• Assist and support our Sales team by providing superior customer service and sales

ABOUT YOU

MANDATORY:

• Current Qld Drivers Licence – Manual
• Confident & positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic with a friendly and respectful manner
• Ability to follow instructions & procedures
• Satisfaction & pride in the results of the assigned task

ADDITIONAL EXTRAS:

• General experience or interest in the Agricultural Sector
• Experience/knowledge with pumps & irrigation equipment, components & their applications
• An awareness of the principles of engines and motors
• Heavy vehicle drivers’ licence and or forklift licence
• Formal qualifications including trade certificates in plumbing, electrical or mechanical
